    A GOOD WEEK OF HOME SALES IN PENTICTON TO KICK OFF OCTOBER!

A TOTAL of 15 properties were sold in PENTICTON this past week. That’s DOWN 2 sales from a week ago (when we sold 17 homes), but UP 3 property sales (12) for the same time period one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a Single-Family Home in the Uplands/Redlands neighbourhood which sold for more than $1.1 Million Dollars. The difference between the average listing price and the ACTUAL negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 96%, with ONLY 1 of the 15 properties selling at or over their stated listing price. Inventory levels in the City of Penticton continue to be advantageous for BUYER’S! We have 546 properties (of all types) “For Sale” right now in the city compared to 470 homes this time last year – that’s an increase in available inventory of +16% year over year. Buyer’s remain in control of the housing market here in Penticton.
