Monday Market Report October 7, 2024 – October 13, 2024

   ANOTHER GOOD WEEK OF HOME SALES IN THE CITY OF PENTICTON!

A TOTAL of 17 properties were sold in PENTICTON this past week. That’s UP 2 sales from a week ago (when we sold 15 homes), and UP 4 property sales (13) for the same time period one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a Single-Family Home on the West Bench which sold for more than $1.9 Million Dollars. The difference between the average listing price and the ACTUAL negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 95%, with JUST 2 of the 17 properties selling at or over their stated listing price. Inventory levels in the City of Penticton continue to be very advantageous for BUYER’S. We have 547 properties (of all types) “For Sale” right now in the city compared to the 470 homes which were available in October 2023. This is an INCREASE in available inventory of +16% year over year. Buyer’s remain in control of the housing market here in Penticton.
