ANOTHER PROMISING WEEK OF HOME SALES AS WE RUN THROUGH NOVEMBER!
A TOTAL 16 properties were sold in PENTICTON this past week. That’s exactly the same number of homes as we sold one week ago (16) but we’re UP a SOLID 9 property sales (7) for the same time period one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a Single-Family Home in the Uplands/Redlands neighbourhood which sold for more than $900,000. The difference between the average listing price and the ACTUAL negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 96%. ANOTHER interesting fact, NOT one of these 16 properties sold at or over their stated listing price. Inventory levels in the City of Penticton continue to favour BUYER’S. We now have 487 properties (of all types) “For Sale” right now in the city compared to the 444 homes available in November 2023. This is an INCREASE in available inventory of +10% year over year. As we roll into the middle of November, buyer’s continue to stay in control of the housing market here in Penticton.16 SALES by property type for the homes SOLD this past week (Nov. 4 – Nov. 10).
