ANOTHER STEADY WEEK OF HOME SALES AS WE ROLL THROUGH NOVEMBER!
A TOTAL of 15 properties were sold in PENTICTON this past week. That’s only down 1 SALE from a week ago (16) but we are UP 8 property sales (7) for the same time period one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a Single-Family Home in the Columbia/Duncan neighbourhood which sold for more than $1.1 Million Dollars. The difference between the average listing price and the ACTUAL negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 98%, with 2 of the 15 properties selling at or over their stated listing price. Inventory levels in the City of Penticton continue to favour BUYER’S……..but that gap is SHRINKING. We currently have 463 properties (of all types) “For Sale” right now in the city compared to the 444 homes available in November 2023. This is an INCREASE in available inventory of +4% year over year. As we roll through November, buyer’s continue to have a slight edge on the housing market here in Penticton15 SALES by property type for the homes SOLD this past week (Nov. 11 – Nov. 17).
