PENTICTON’S REAL ESTATE MARKET REMAINS RESILIENT WITH ANOTHER STRONG WEEK OF HOME SALES!
A TOTAL of 16 properties were SOLD in Penticton this past week. That’s just down 3 sales from the previous week (19), but UP 6 sales for the same time period a year ago (10). The highest-priced transaction was a beautiful Condo on the North side of Penticton which sold for more than $1.2 million dollars. The average negotiated sales price this past week was 97% of the listing price, with just 2 of the 16 properties selling at or above there stated listing price. For the first time in 2025, inventory levels are HIGHER compared to the previous year. We currently have 482 properties (of all types) listed for sale in the city, compared to 475 homes available in March 2024. This is an ever so slight increase of 1% in available inventory year over year. As I’ve reiterated all year, BUYERS, at this moment in time, have a slim advantage in the market.16 SALES by property type for the homes SOLD this past week (Mar. 24 – Mar. 30). Breakdown is as follows:
- 1 Half Duplex
- 3 Condos
- 5 Single Family Homes
- 7 Townhomes
- 1 Half Duplex
- 1 Full Duplex
- 5 Lots
- 6 Condos
- 7 Townhomes
- 16 Single Family Homes
