Monday Market Report February 17, 2025 – February 23, 2025

     PENTICTON REAL ESTATE MARKET SHOWS CONSISTENT STRENGTH WITH STEADY HOME SALES!

We sold 13 properties in Penticton this past week. That’s DOWN 4 sales from the previous week (17), but up 1 sale versus the same time period last year (12). The highest-priced transaction was a Single-Family Home on the South side of Penticton which sold for more than $1.9 million dollars. The average negotiated sales price this past week was 96% of the listing price, with ONLY 2 of the 13 properties selling at or above the stated listing price. Since the start of January, inventory levels in the city have been lower compared to the previous year. We currently have 421 properties (of all types) listed for sale in the city, compared to 430 homes available in February 2024. This is a slight decrease of 2% in available inventory. At this moment, buyers continue to have a SLIGHT edge in the housing market here in Penticton.
