A NICE BURST OF HOME SALES IN THE PENTICTON REAL ESTATE MARKET!
We sold 17 properties in Penticton this past week. That’s UP 8 sales from the previous week (9), and up 1 sale versus the same time period last year (16). The highest-priced transaction was a Single-Family Home in the Wiltse/Valleyview neighbourhood, which sold for more than $1.4 million dollars. The average negotiated sales price this past week was 97% of the listing price, with 5 of the 17 properties selling at or above the stated listing price. Since the start of January, inventory levels in the city have been lower compared to the previous year. We currently have 409 properties (of all types) listed for sale in the city, compared to 430 homes available in February 2024. This is a slight decrease of 5% in available inventory.
