A NICE BOUNCEBACK IN HOME SALES FOR THE PENTICTON REAL ESTATE MARKET!
A TOTAL of 19 properties were SOLD in Penticton this past week. That’s up 5 sales from the previous week (14), and UP 3 home sales for the same time period a year ago (16). The highest-priced transaction was a Single-Family Home in the Columbia/Duncan neighbourhood that sold for more than $1.3 Million Dollars. The average negotiated sales price this past week was 98% of the listing price, with just 1 of the 19 properties selling at or above there stated listing price. For the third straight week, inventory levels are HIGHER compared to the previous year. We currently have 499 properties (of all types) listed for sale in the city, compared to 495 homes available in April 2024. This is an ever so slight increase of 1% in available inventory year over year. As I’ve made mention all year, BUYERS, at this moment in time, still have a slim advantage in the market.19 SALES by property type for the homes SOLD this past week (April 7 – April 13).
